The Curse Of The Crimson Kimono
In Kyoto, Aiko finds an exquisite crimson kimono in a mysterious shop and is enchanted by its beauty. The shopkeeper warns her of an ominous past, but Aiko dismisses the caution. Upon wearing it, her joy turns into terror as strange phenomena occur—whispers surround her, shadows flicker, and she feels the fabric tightening around her as if it has a life of its own. Seeking help, she consults a local monk who uncovers the kimono's dark history. It belonged to a jilted lover who cursed it with her dying breath, trapping any wearer in spiritual torment. Aiko learns she must burn the kimono under the rare blood moon to break the curse. However, the spirits bound to the kimono fight back, manifesting as horrifying visions and obstructing her at every turn. Despite her fears, Aiko perseveres, setting the kimono ablaze at the sacred shrine just as the blood moon rises. The fabric burns to ashes, and with it, the spirits dissipate. Freed from the curse, Aiko returns home, forever changed by her brush with the supernatural.
